A hotel reborn around a 17th-century portico built under Granduca Ferdinando I.   Outside peace and nature, inside Italian styling and the art of hospitality. A Medicean residence restored to its former beauty, transformed into an exclusive resort. A blend of Renaissance aura and present-day comfort in a hotel where luxury engenders relaxation.

Mineral rich water of 42 celsius was discovered as long ago as 500 BC and the Romans took full advantage of the healing benefits and built the first mineral baths here. The Medicis also built a villa here in the 17th century for the same reason.
The thermal waters, specific therapeutic qualities Skeletal apparatus (joints-muscles):
thermal therapy is indicated in all degenerative, inflammatory and post trauma pathologies. It reduces the number and intensity of acute episodes. Treatments: mud therapy, thermal therapeutic pool, hydromassage. Bathing in thermal waters has a delicate peeling effect on the skin which regenerates and moisturizes it, making it smooth and radiant.

Respiratory apparatus: indicated in pathologies of the respiratory tract, sinusitis and ear infections. Treatments: aerosols, hot humid inhalations, humages.
These enriched thermal waters are also  prescribed as  a drinking program. When imbibed in this way they act on the locomotive apparatus as a source of calcium in the treatment of osteo-porosis and in sports are a valid source of mineral salts. They also have a detoxifying effect on the liver and biliary tracts.
